Workshops

Welcome to our workshops page! Below you can find all the active workshops available for sign up. Spaces are limited and we encourage early sign up as classes do fill up quickly. All workshops typically last 3 hours and are run by Maré in her workshop in Wiscasset. Check out our F.A.Q. on the Know Before You Go page for all the details you may need before attending a class. If you still have questions please contact us here.

Beginners are welcome in every class but we encourage a foundational class such as the napkin/muffin basket or bread basket class to become comfortable with weaving basics. If you don’t see a class you are interested in, please let us know your ideas! We try to rotate classes each month and are open to suggestions.

Pine Cone Wreath Workshop

In a this workshop, you will create and design your own pine cone wreath. All supplies will be provided, however, I would suggest taking a hike, walking your property or street and forage for pine cones acorns, dried flowers, seed pods, mosses or anything interesting that appeals to do. If you have hydrangea, the blossoms are perfect for a touch of midcoast Maine. Wear an old Tshirt as the pitch from the cones will get over your clothes.

Solstice Star / Snowflake

The Solstice Star / Snowflake is a fun workshop. You will be able to take home the instructions and share with friends and neighbors to make more for giving. The class is only 3 hours and you will have one completed to take home and the materials to make a second one at home.

Wine Basket

Garlic Basket Workshop
