Workshops
All workshops are taught by Mare LeMay of Mindful Gardens in Wiscasset, Maine.
Class availability varies throughout the year.

Small Backpack Workshop
$75 per person
The workshop is a total of 5 hours across two days and will take place in Wiscasset, ME. All supplies will be provided. Small backpacks are large enough to take to the market or on a day trip. The baskets are 12-14″ tall and have a wooden base. Students have a choice of blue, green, burgundy, or brown straps for their baskets.

Farmer’s Market Tote Workshop
$60 per person
The workshop is 3 hours long and will take place in person in Wiscasset, ME. All supplies will be provided. The Farmer’s Market Tote Basket is our most popular basket and is perfect for day trips, going to the Farmer’s Market, or just a good carry-all for knitting or craft projects. The baskets are 12″ tall. Students can choose between blue, green, burgundy, or brown straps for their baskets.

Market Basket Workshop
$45 per person
The workshop is 3 hours long and will take place in person in Wiscasset, ME. All supplies will be provided. The Market Basket is a cute but useful basket which is useful for holding goodies in or to fill for a gift basket. This class is unique from the others that we offer as it will enable students to learn how to weave a handle. Students will have the option to add dyed reed to their basket to make it their own creation.

5-Week Basket Weaving Workshop
$150 per person
This workshop series is a total of 15 hours across 5 days and will take place in person in Wiscasset, ME. Please bring to the first class an old towel, notebook, and a box of dye of a color of your choice if interested.
In the final class you will be making a tote to carry home your notes, 2 practice baskets, and any supplies that you brought. Participants will also receive a 15% discount for any further classes, supplies, or basket kits.
